Our Programs
Although training packages vary based on the amount of personal instruction a client desires, all training packages include the following basic elements:
Fitness assessment (includes resting heart rate, blood pressure, body composition, flexibility, VO2 max estimate)
Running, or conditioning, plans and daily workouts
Education in all areas of your training so that you can one day train yourself
Resistance training workouts, with periodization matching the running/conditioning plan, taught in your own home
An individualized pace chart and heart rate zone chart
Realistic goal-setting
Assistance in selecting target competitions
Nutritional guidelines
Periodic check on progress
Individual track sessions
Individual weight-lifting sessions in your home
The goal of the coach is to find out what methods of training work best for you, based on your physiology and how you respond to training. Then, the coach can educate you in all aspects of your training with the intentions that you can one day coach yourself. The coach also makes training as convenient as possible by coming to you.
